Duff's list of accomplishments includes being the host and star of Ace of Cakes, a reality TV show on the Food Network with 10 seasons. Baltimore City Paper named Duff one of the city's Up and Comers in 2005. He is also the best-selling author of Ace of Cakes: Inside the World of Charm City Cakes (2009). In 2011, Duff was nominated for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best TV Food Personality/Host and Best Television Program. In 2012, Goldman was the Culinary Ambassador by the White House.
